We are all an example of energy in sunlight. In fact everything, from the smallest organism to humans, every living thing, is alive because of the energy from sunlight. For example, we live on animals and plants. The p-lants absorb sunlight to exist. Animals eat the plants and absorb that energy. We eat those animals (or plants directly) and absorb the energy, so the sun's energy works its way up the foo chain. Sun energy and water are the ingredients for life.
