I want some graphics of dogs, horses, other animals ... flowers, nature etc. that belong to the public domain that I can use for commercial purpose (I want to put some texts on them, then print them on different substract like tee-shirt, coffee mugs etc.).
Can I find that in the public domain? Do you know websites?
Or where else I can find pictures or graphics without hiring an expensive graphic designer?

Try stockphotos.com if that is not the correct web address google it. I know its called stock photos. Some are free and some you may have to pay a minimum fee. I also think they offer disks that contain various photos on them depending on what type of subject you are looking for. That might be a good option to consider.
