They own most of our foreign national debt and will stand ready to collect in a few years when our national debt surpasses our GDP, get ready to start speaking chinese! And then some Arabic for Saudi who holds another considerable amount of our debt.

They supply wal-mart over 80 percent of their product line. They pay their workers around a tenth of what American companies building similiar products do, and yet their middle class is booming. They have a communist government. They had yahoo and google develop censored software to stop their people from finding out about the western world. Go buy a book!

If they ever reach the "Superpower" rank, everyone who hates America will suddenly turn on them, because (guess what) they will not be able to handle the fact that they are not the top of the list, just as they are unable to handle Americans now. People will be jealous of China, just as they are of the United States. Simple fact: Everyone hates the winner (politically, of course).
