I actually liked dividing the tribes up by race and enjoyed watching the different dynamics. But now, after only two weeks, they juggled the players up again and integrated them. This confuses me because they do it every season and I can't keep track of who is on what team, and also I wanted to see the teams segregated a little while longer (that's not as bad as it sounds). Anyone agree/disagree?

For the haters who don't watch the show, the interesting thing was the way people of the SAME race and different ages would act around each other. In the Asian tribe, for example, they ahd the older man from war-torn Vietnam and the younger folks who were Americanized and have never experienced the same things that he had. It made for great TV, I think. Poo-poo on the haters!

I feel tremendously ripped off and duped. I'm guessing they thought the sensationalism of the division would rope people in and then we would all be hooked, then they could drop the concept.
2 episodes?!!!! I'm just curious if this was always the plan or did they get spineless in the face of some critisism and speed up the regrouping.
after not keeping up with the show for years,I thought I'd watch this season. seems that there is so little meat on the bone, so to speak, like the show's 2/3 challenges and 1/3 planning/plotting. 0% anything resembling surviving.
If they want their show to continue they need to do something truly drastic such as really playing "survivor", they have to find food and water themselves.to me thinking survivor,I think of some people washing up on a deserted island. nowhere in this mental picture does playing a puzzle game for rice exist.

I like it better with the tribes all mixed up. I thought it was kinda boring when they were segregated.I'm not a huge Survivor fan though. This is the first season that I have watched. I didn't have a problem with them being segregated, I just think it's more interesting with them the way they are now.

I really don't care. IT's not like a crappy reality show is going to either make a viable social experiment or completely wreck the world. And as far as I know, there aren't many people keeping serious track of it. So although the concept does annoy me, it is not deep enough to even scratch the REAL social issues that America is facing today. In real life, we are drawing closer to segregation, and we should be dealing with that rather than worrying about the trivial experiment in a game show.

I agree they made the merge to quickly. I don't understand the point of splitting them up like that if they were going to merge them so quickly, especially if the point was to create interest in the show again. Last season was really bad so I hope this season isn't headed in the same direction. I haven't missed an episode of survivor since it started until last season so I was really hoping I would be able to enjoy it again.

I agree but I am mad with Survivor cause they seem to be so easy on everyone lately. they are practicaly given them food and fishing supplies and stuff when in the first Survivor they started them with nothing, I think they should still do that. Thats the whole idea behind Survivor isnt it?

it calls into question the 1st alliances and the new ones they have to form with the change up. I can't wait to watch them all find the dark side of their hearts and then justify it as just a game and watch the losers who get voted off get pissed because they were lied to and had expected to win.
IT IS A GAME BUT NOT A NICE ONE.

I would rather have the tribes still seperated by race. It was better like that. Now that they mixed them up again and its like all the other ones.

They need to get rid of it. I only watched the first one for a little while. The whole racial division thing is just bs.
