This is a fairly simple question. I'm expecting the Elementary students still logged in here to get this one right.
This goes to the constant bogus argument put forth by the NRA types re "guns don't kill people, people kill people".

Well dah! A lunatic is more dangerous with weapons of mass destruction, and war machines.. Killing machines do far more damage, of course!
sure, I'd rather be killed with a gun if I had a choice-- i guess.
but at least when someones chasing you with a knife, you can outrun them! And a chainsaw hinders someone from running very fast.
I mean, you take the guns out of the homes of the kids, and do you
REALLY think they are going to bring big knives and chainsaws to school? You can't conceal a chainsaw or an axe...it's just not practical.
But a knife?
Just how much damage do you think a boy is capable of doing with a knife before the entire football team is on him pummeling him in the head with fists and boots?

One question: Does the gun have bullets and how many?
Assuming they all work and the gun has bullets, I would say the gun.
Otherwise, I'm going with the axe. It would be easier to swing than a chainsaw and have a better chance hitting a target than a knife.

Bogus arguement? Put a gun on the table and shout at it for a month straight...subject it to torture...let it get no sleep whatever...will it snap and jump up on its own and kill you? Well then give that gun to a man and do the same. Sounds like a fun experiiment no? Who is doing the killing now the gun or the man behind it? Lets scientifically analyze this.Guns run out of ammo,got it.?
The chainsaw would run out of gas,got it.?
Which leaves the more primitive weapons,the axe and knife which could be used indefinitely,according to ones physical fitness level,got it.?

Guns don't kill people, people kill people. Guns make it easier. Or do you think the history books are all lies when they talk about the wars that happened for thousands of years with nothing more than swords, bows and arrows, spears, etc.?
What's more dangerous, a lunatic with a gun, or a drunk driver? 46,000 vehicle deaths each year. Less than 16,000 murders, and not all of them with guns.

i figure that he/she would be most dangerous with the weapon that he/she is most proficient with. as far as the nra thing goes, how will you protect your family if your house is being ransacked? they say the pen is mightier than the sword, but you won't be able to protect your loved ones by writing the assailant a poem. the right to bear arms was given to us and it should NOT be taken away...
