I just want some tips for getting into medical school and advice for becoming one.

Straighforward, but difficult.

(1) Major in something relevant in college; biology would be good, English not so good.

(2) You've got to get pretty much straight A's in all those relevant courses, like bio, chem, even math.

(3) Take and get a great score on the MCAT (Medical College Aptitude Test).

(4)After you graduate from med school with your M.D., then apply for internship in Anesthesiology. Do the years of residency in this specialty.

(5) Take and pass the board certification exam to be an Anesthesiologist.

(6) Take and pass state licensing exam in whatever state you wish to practice.

[This is why Doctors get paid so much.]

I just want to add something...
Med schools usually are more interested in students who are majoring something other than bio... i.e, english!
bio majors actually have lower acceptance rate than bio major people
