I don't think he will, because if he keeps taking shots like he has been, he won't make it the whole season.

I hope so. He came so very close against the Rams in SB XXXIV with the game still in doubt until the very last play. McNair is a classy guy who can still get it done. I think the Ravens have an excellent chance to make the playoffs. The AFC is going to be very hard to come out of for the Ravens because if you look at the other potential playoff teams you have some outstanding squads. Indy, New England, Cincinnati, possibly Jacksonville would be very tough opponents in the playoffs for any team. If the Ravens can get a consistent ground game going to complement McNair's throwing abilities, this is certainly a team to be reckoned with this year in the AFC. No one doubts the defense of the Ravens, all they have needed since their SB victory in SB XXXV has been an offense that can put points on the board. This team looks capable of doing just that now, so who knows? I'm a Bengals fan but I have a lot of respect for McNair and would love to see him take this team to the top.

McNair is getting use to the Offense. He took much bigger hits his last 2 years in Tenn. and still played the whole year through. This offense will click, you can see it coming together when they beat a very good San Diego team. I have said since the acquision of McNair that the Ravens should be feared. People are now seeing it. This year, and if he returns next year are looking like prime Super Bowl years for the QB. Expect to be talking how they clinched Home Field in the playoffs soon, because they will win the AFC North and end with the best record in football when the defense comes full circle.

I say yes. I've been a Titans fan eversince they were in Houston and it breaks my heart to see him on the Ravens. But I think he sould be able to lead Baltimore to the promised-land. Their defense is great, they have a decent running back and now they have a top-notched QB in McNair. If he doesn't get his ring this year, he probably never will.

Nope. Still not convinced at how good Baltimore's offense is and whether their defense can carry them to the Super Bowl. They've played well against some bad teams and pulled games out of their collective asses vs Cleveland and San Diego.

The schedule gets much tougher, starting with the trip to Denver. There are only 3 games left on their schedule against teams that won't be in the fight for the playoffs - Nov. 12 at Tennessee, Dec. 17 vs. Cleveland, and Dec. 31 vs. Buffalo.

no - I was impressed with their win over SD, but still, I don't think this team has the offense to win. Their 2000 team could at least run the ball, and that D was better than this one.

they make the playoffs as a wc team, but no further.
