Do you like working with numbers? Are you somewhat introverted (many accountants are). Accounting is a good career if you enjoy solving problems and working with numbers. It's not a great career if you are extroverted.

Accounting is an excellent major. Not sure exactly what you learned in the money management class, but accounting is more recording than managing (or managing the recording). Go in as an accounting major, if it's not for you then maybe when you switch your major you can get a minor in business with whatever you end up with.

The field of accounting opens numerous doors. Know one that finished in accounting that now head multi-national corporation, know others that had very good lives as CPA, know others that seem to be doing very good as financial planners, also know many that spend their time in cubicles crunching numbers. Have you realized my point yet. Don't you think you should do some homework before buying through the noise college credits. Check out Dictionary of Occupational Titles, Occupational Outlook Handbook and see what degree in accounting takes where you took course you liked.Basic accounting is not as exciting as money planning, so also see what you will be doing till you get additional skill to get to what you liked.

Never heard of "money management", only heard of "financial managment". May be different places call it differently.

It will be a good idea if you are good with numbers and enjoy working with numbers and formula and spreadsheet etc. If you enjoy working with people or machine then it's not for you.

No, not a real good idea. Since you are taking money management, why not consider finance advisor instead.
