If you new to the pill u can get slight bleeding called spotting its just ur body getting used to it. u can also get spotting if u missed a pill as ur body doenst have the hormone and thinks its time for ur period. please beaware that if u miss a pill u need to take if within 12 hrs of forgetting and take u other one at the same time even if it mean 2 in one day. u may also not be covered contraceptive way so use condomsfor 7 days after missed tablet.

Missing a period or taking it later than usual can cause breakthrough bleeding. If I'm more than 4 hours late taking mine, I'll get some spotting. If you've missed one (or are more than 12 hours late taking it), then you should use a backup form of contraception for the next seven days.
