hezbollah 's impact on the United states is minimal .
the impact that it has on the world oil markets is great for they have the ability (and they have proven it) to make an agressor look like a war monguring hoard in the worlds eye ,

if we remove ourselfs from their land they become the agressor and we will be able to rid the world of them but the odds are that they want to defend thiers as much as we would defend ours and that is the right of all

Hezbollah is a terrorist faction. They can do what terrorists do and kill Americans. That is plenty big of a reason for me.
They are also constantly attacking our allies, Israel.

There was a time when is a country dared to hurt or kill an AMerican, the US military would give a warning and is the didn't comply they were crushed.
This was a time of peace because no one would hurt an American.

And now, due to political correctness and seriously misplaced sympathy to terrorists, few people have the balls to stand up to the terrorists and absolutely crush them if the hurt an American.

God Bless the soldiers fighting for America and freedom for the world. They are living gods!

in the overall scope of the US plans to bring the entire middle east into line with US and NATO policy ... hezbolla is seen as an extention of iran and syria ... if you look at the military doctrine that has already been in use in the middle east over the past decade ... its easy to see that the "pre-war" softening up of hezbolla is pointing towards a larger war soon ... so i dont know what impact you are reffering to but they are seen as a major player in the greater overall war plans ... and as you can see they were a formidable force and one that they would not have wanted on israels doorstep when larger hostilities take place.... also they were used as a stepping stone and an excuse to deploy even now ... huge numbers of nato troops and ships on the mediterranean "theatre" side of the coming conflict.
