For people who already know everything, asking questions is pretty much a pointless exercise. Most of their 'questions' are really just statements masquerading as questions, so it's offensive to them when you dare to contradict them. For example: just listen to some of the people that pontificate on what happened on 9/11 - I mean, we now know that even the most uneducated people are really structural engineering and aviation experts who can say for CERTAIN that planes alone could not have brought down those towers. Who would'a thunk.

Well you got a bunch of clueless Republicans who are uninformed, misguided, stubborn to admit their "guy" is the biggest ****** ever, but you know--their still in control. Then you have us lefties, we've got the facts, the more mainstream views, and pretty soon--control of some of our gov't that we've been questioning relentlessly for six years now. I ask questions and I don't really care for the answers I get at all. Just too many con idiots on here that are trying desparately to hang on. Some are even radical enough to send you a thought provoking e-,mail.

Maybe they are making a statement and not asking a question, or maybe they just want to argue and pick a fight, and some might get angry at first but later realize they were wrong or looking at it in a different way.

See, questions in indexed decrease than are lots like a clean bus-provide up shelter - it gets pup pee and graffiti actual rapid, and it quite is now a territorial component. the completed factor of a bus-provide up shelter is to maintain you dry jointly as you wait on a bus. yet i could quite stand 50yds far off from it in soaking rain to circumvent the stink of urine, or carry a conveyable chlorinated stress-washer to maintain the pleb-species at bay. And bear in mind little ones, i'm God.

Some people just don't like to hear opposing views. They prefer to live in their own little bubbles. Everything is pretty and happy there, and everyone agrees with them.
I feel sorry for those people. Personally, I don't mind opposing views...so long as they're respectful, and intelligent in presentation.

Sadly, both sides are guilty of this. I suspect a great many of the users on yahoo answers are kids. I blame the parents.

I do not get angry at the answers if they differ from what I think.
What gets me mad are the libs who just rage and call names. They have nothing to offer and no insight - just hate and rage.

Because the partisan askers just want validation of their beliefs, not a thoughtful answer, especially if it disagrees with what they think.

I think its because they asked the question more to make themselves feel better, than to actually know something new. They are here to almost boost their ego, rather than to learn something...which is quite saddening.
