Ya know, I asked this very same question last week and I got some pretty good answers. You may or may not know that that date is the end of the Mayan calendar (the best time-keepers in recorded history by the way!). Now the Mayans believed that the world and the universe moved in cycles of several thousand years called "ages". Where one age ended on their calendar, another began....except for the last one...Several members of the metaphysical and occult schools of thought have different theories, but I think its the Apocalypse. Now before you delete me, let's define "Apocalypse". The word "Apocalypse" literally means "something revealed". HA! And you thought I was talking about the Bible?!! Nope! So what do I think will be revealed?
I think that Time as we understand it will cease to be as this world and the world of the unseen are forced together. The 'membrane' that separates the physical from the Astral is going to be rended in twain and our world as we understand it will no longer be. Call me weird, but I believe that earth will become a 'crossing' for us as well as ALL of the inhabitants of the as of yet 'unseen' world. This is just my own opinion based on personal experience. That's the approximate date (a few days off actually), when the 28 years of transition between the 4th World and the 5th World will end. Those people left, (transitions can be very interesting ie. ice age between the 1st and 2nd Worlds, Great Flood between 3rd and 4th.), will enter into the next World of Illumination and the hand out-stretched to each other. -Ancient Traditional Wisdom of the Original People.
