What is so great about the freakin' Disney Channel? Am I missing something? Is this what they teach in high school drama these days: go audition for the Disney Channel? Aren't there community theatres or industrials you kids could be auditioning for, like everyone else? I don't get it.

The kids are obsessed with the "idea," of being an actress on TV, not understanding that it is hard work, and most of them do not have the "right stuff," to be a performer.
They see the performers on tv and think "oh, that's cool, I want to be on the Disney channel as an actor.

I do not get it either. All they have to have is not talent, and be ready to be labeled DISNEY FREAK the rest of their life. But if you really want to be an actor/actress, you will accept anything and not be ashamed of it. Who knows? They could be the next Hilary Duff! *Snigger, snort* The sad thing is most of the people on the Disney Channel are older than they play. I mean those "Suite Life" kids are like, what, 13? Boys didn't act like that at 13! How old is Raven now? 20? At least? I mean when that's all you have got and no way to make your money, OK. But I want to know why they wanted to end up on that channel in the 1st place. Please. I'd like to think better of myself.

to be as popular as Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan...
to star in a hit musical...
to be in a hit Disney show...
honestly, I'm a Disney Channel fan and would wanna be in their so called 'circle of stars'... but im not uber obsessed with that.
they got great shows and movies... you know, the kinda things that say... 'go, be yourself... follow your dreams..."
...and that's exactly what these people do... try to go and audition or something.
