How can I find out if my employer is being sued?

Under the Freedom of Information Act you may request this info ,
in writing, from the Clerk of the Court for which this business is
under their jurisdiction. I take it that this is a civil matter.Check If this action has been filed. What you want to find out is if this is a class action suit. If this is under Federal jurisdiction you may request in the same way to the Atty. Generals office. If this is a criminal matter it may be sealed by the judge until disposition has been reached. In all cases you can view your rights under the
Freedom of information act right on line .Also, you can check with the Better Business Burue or the Dept. of Consumer Protection. Good luck.
