my daughter is 14.
we currently live in Arizona, in arizona you must be 15 and 7 months to get a permit. That is about a year away.
However, we plan on moving to new mexico in a couple of months. In New mexico, you only have to be 15 to get your permit.
she will be turning 15 around two months after we move.
So my question is, should i start her driver's ed here, or just start her off when we get there??

thanks for any help in advance :)

My daughter is home schooled, she can do driver's ed thru private agencies already if i signed her up for them.

I live in New Mexico and I think it would be better to start her off here. We may have different road rules and if she is going to be driving here then it would be better for her to learn here. Just like Arizona, we have alot of country roads for you to take her down and help her get aquainted and more experienced on driving. I know you will like New Mexico better because it doesn't get so hot here. We live 20 miles from pine trees and not far from a lake. We have so much to see and do here that we have stayed here for over 20 years. We raised our daughter here and she learned how to drive here. Good luck to you. You are welcome in advance.

Wait until you get to New Mexico and have a chance to become familiar with the roads, traffic patterns, and the driving laws in that state.
