I'd say it is a question of how much money you have and how political is the case,will it advance the prosecutor etc

It depends on who you are, how much you can pay the judge and how much the attorney you have can get out of you. If you do not have alot say for instance if you can give me this amount by your preliminary date you will not go to jail. It is all about money and who you are. If your not a big dog your gone with the little puppy.

laws these days are so stinking tricky, the attorneys are able to find loop holes in just about everything. and alot of people do a plea bargin instead of going to a jury trial. and some people offer to "rat" on other people for a lesser sentence. It just depends on what goes on behind closed doors!!!
