My girlfriend and I have known each other for about 7 years, but only have dated for about 6 months now. We recently found out she was pregnant, and lately we havent been spending a lot of time together and she dosent want to see me much anymore. She never shows emotion towards me. We were deeply in love before pregnancy, could it just be her pregnant hormones that are making her feel this way? She is 11 weeks pregnant now. Some days she loves me and the next dosent want to talk to me. Help a confused man if you can.

With my first child i did not want to be around the father at all. I had VERY mixed emotions and didn't know what to think. She could be having similar feelings or not really sure what she wants. He and i ended up together and are now having our 2nd child!! From Experience He would tell you that this will be a VERY LONG journey not only for you but her as well. Give her the space that she askes for but if you truly love her then be there when she needs you!
Good Luck to the both of you and Congrats!!

Well, its probablly a mix of hormones and a lot of things on her mind. Pregnancy`s an emotional time. You just need to be there for her when she needs you and give her some space when she needs space. She still loves you, and thats not going to change, but with a mix of thinking about the baby, hormones, and pregnancy symptoms, she`s not always going to show it. Just make sure she understands that your there for whatever she needs.

Early pregnancy releases a lot of hormones that make a woman feel confused and "not herself". Let her know that you are there to support her whenever she needs it. Don't try to force the issue or she'll back off more. Best of luck.

personally i thinks its a little of both. because of her hormones she really feels that way, but it will pass and then shell probably go through a stage where she cant get enough of you and that too will pass. hormones are a crazy thing and very powerful. just be patient and supportive because you are about to witness the most amazing thing you will ever see or feel.. congrats

Expect a love and hate relationship to a certain point and time and has nothing to do with you.

Blame the fluctuating hormones, pain and changes to her body. Be more sympathetic, loving and above all, understanding.

Good luck to both of you.

Yes, most likely hormones. I would try to do some extra nice things for her. Maybe some unexpected flowers or a massage.
This is probably a scarey time for her and she doesn't know what to do. Good luck to you!

it's probably a good mix of both hormones and actual feelings. alot goes on in a pregnant woman's head, especially if it's the first baby.

I think that these may be hormones, but probably alot of it is feelings. She probably feels that what "you" did to her is unfair, no matter how silly that may seem to you. Just give her some space, and then talk to her later.

i'd say it was more of the hormones. i know alot of the times i feel like i truly despise my fiance'! extra nice is sometimes extra annoying too. give her the space she needs right now.
