I'm going to say no. Let me explain. I've come accross people who were too obsese to excercise. I can think of one woman last year who had to lose 40 lbs before she could even think of adding walking to her routine, because she would wear out just walking to the door. If took a while, but she got to that point. Once she was able to add excercise, things sped up. The keys are balanced nutrition - you still need all of your protein, vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients. Water is a big big must!

I do, There was a time when my health was better and I was running and walking and doing weight resistance training, I could eat what I wanted to eat and stayed the same size. Then I had health issues and haven't been able to get back to exercising. I've gained 20 pounds and feel bad. I have to have surgery on one of my feet and I'm going to be off my feet afterward for 12 weeks, it's to correct an arthritic issue. So, exercise as long as you can and eat food with substance, you'll see, it will be great.

In most cases it is, along with diet. However you can lose weight by lowering your calorie intake & no exercise. You will lose it faster if you cut calories & exercise at the same time & you will be much more toned without so much loose skin. It's also better for your heart.

Absolutely. Exercising raises your metabolism so you burn more calories. Dieting alone makes you crabby and irritable.
