I teach chess at my elementary school. Does anyone know of demonstration pieces / boards for Windows computer programs I could use with my students? For example, something on Powerpoint that you could use to show moves or teach positions or something? I have a chess program, but you can't set up your own board or anything...I would like to have something that I could just set up and show the students quickly without having to get into a program. Thanks!

I am a high school chess coach. I use a program called ChessMaker to make my chess diagrams for worksheets & powerpoints. You could also use the program (while crude) to show moves, etc. on a computer.

You can download this program from the following site:
http://www.alphaprime.com/chessmaker/

It has a 14 day free trial, but it is well worth the $9.95 to purchase.

I hope this info/program helps.
