I'm interested in getting information on: school openings and attendance, water/sewer availability and status. In other words, information on what is day to day life like in Iraq. All we seem to be getting is how many IEDs went off, how many people military and civilian were killed, etc. Is there a web site or a news org. where I can get this information? .

I think you will only get propaganda from one extreme point of view or the other until they either get America out or we manage to get our puppet government accepted by enough of the population and it becomes a US protectorate like Israel.
NB. above site contains hopeful propaganda for 2003 to 04, those goals weren't met and are unlikely to be.

Look to the GAO's website. Its going to be hard to find though because they like to classify a lot. I included one to get you started.
FYI from what I've read it ain't going in the direction you are looking for. Better questions are since 2003 how many schools have closed, how has the US army's use of toilet paper destroyed Baghdad's sewer system, etc.
