me and my partner argue or bikker every dayover syupid things such as money,food,petrol, any thing really the latest thing is he bought us a new bed and has decided that coz i put it up when he wasnt here i am not allowed to sleep it and he is going to sell it!!!

Verbal abuse is just as bad as physical abuse. Why do you take this kind of treatment? Obviously you two shouldn't be together if you are fighting nonstop. Everyone deserves to be happy...including you. It's probably not what you are saying or doing. He should have been happy that you put the bed up and he didn't have to help you. I was tickled when I was at work, our new computer arrived, and hubby put it together for me. Relationships are give and take. Sounds like you are doing an awful lot of giving & he isn't. Really think about it & ask yourself if this is the way you want to live the rest of your life. You are already starting to think it's your fault & you can't do anything right. That's not healthy. If you really love each other, you might want to get a counselor involved to help you two see & figure out what is really bothering you both.

I would have to say that your "independancy" probably made him feel like less of a man. He's probably insulted that you didnt let him play his part as the man in the relationship and therefore wants nothing to do with the bed now. I think you should really ask yourself just how happy you guys make eachother though. If it's come down to aruing over silly things like that then you need to work on your comunication.

this man is an abuser, i was married to the exact same man, nothing i did or said was ever right. From the sounds of things you are in the same boat i was, please get out of there and find someone who will treat you like the princess you are.
