The back of my head is flat, therefore, I have difficulties fitting into conventional oval-shaped-opening helmets. I currently own 3 XXL helmets (arai, shoei & afx). I have severe pain in the back of my head after 30-45 minutes of riding. Any suggestions will be appreciated! Thanx!

RE:
I'm looking for a custom-fit motorcycle helmet. A company that would take a mould of my head to make helmet.

You can't buy a helmet online reliably unless you have tried it on first in a store. Unlike a hat, helmets are a size AND shape, and they don't flex much. Some are longer and some are more round. If you get a round shaped brand, and your head is more oval, it will pich in the front and back. If your head is more round, and the helmet is oval, it will pinch on the sides. Go to a local store and try on a few brands to see what ones fit best, then buy online if you like. It should fit snug and even, all the way around your head.

I think Arai has a custom helmet design but its real expensive ($3~$4,000) If you change helmet every couple of years and intend riding forever it may be worthwhile? I think you should contact customer services direct at various companies. They may be able to use standard shell and make a custom liner which should be much cheaper.
Hope the mould clears up OK ;0)

Head mold ,that's gross maybe you shouldn't wear a helmet until that clears up.

If you live in a state without a helemt law, just don't wear one. You'll find it's the only way to ride.

Try doing some neck exercises,if your neck muscles are stronger maybe the pain will stop. And try some clorox, that should get rid of the mold on your head.
