Should there be a larger California vote turnout in this election of 2006 then in the last election of 2004? Why or why not.

Its a moot point it is of no concern, it has no effect on the rest of the country, it will always be a blue state.

i predict smaller.
not so controversial. and the big change was made but no real movement. so people are not feeling can have much effect on the big issues and for the wealthy taxes are down so they're taken care of..
people tend to vote more when they are mad or trying to make a big change or trying to stop a big change.
no ones got anyone fired up.

"Should there" as in do I think that they get out to the polls more or do I predict that they will get out to the polls more?

I hope that people from the areas that are highly agricultural come out and vote in high numbers. I hope that everyone in San Francisco, San Jose and Los Angeles just stays home that day.

I expect that people will get out in nearly the same proportions as before.
