As mentioned by others, yes, there are forms of emergency contraceptives that one can use within a short timespan after intercourse. Even if an egg and sperm have already joined forces, the pill will prevent the fertilized egg from implanting into the wall of the uterus - thus, no pregnancy. There are some side effects, so consult a professional first. There is talk of making these pills available over-the-counter, but, as of now, I believe, they are all prescription-only. Good luck.
