Anybody else feel like gilmore girls is beginning to suck. After last season I thought it couldn't get any worse but last night's episode was terrible. Anybody else feel the same way?

I thought it was little weird. I mean it doesn't make sense to me that Rory would be so mad about Lorelei sleeping with Christopher, considering she made some pretty dumb choices whenever she was freaking out. And it seems like Lorelei would have been better equipped in argument. The old Lorelei wouldn't have taken Rory's railroading lying down.
I also think the writing is just off. Lorelei's dialogue isn't as sharp, in fact, no one's is. The pop culture references aren't as obscure and satisfying as they once were. Kirk's antics seem less endearing more awkward and just stupid.
The great thing about the show was that Lorelei was always so self-aware and good at articulating her pain. Since last season she has lost this ability and she is completely daft all of sudden when it comes to Luke. But I'll still watch it. Maybe it will just take a couple of episodes for the new showrunner to get into a grove.

I don't feel Gilmore Girls is becoming horrible, it's a great show. The cw is just trying to mislead you and then a big event will happen. I just know it. I love Gilmore Girls

The original writers left the show after last season - so the new ones are working from some rough outlines for this season's episodes.
It's not as good this year, but Kirk barreling the car into Luke's was a stitch.

I love gilmore girls but its kinda boring, they could of done some better season openers i think, they need better writing. Like loreli needs to become pg whos the dad? and so on

but you know there are new people writing the plot of girlmore girls this seaons.....it's not the same poeple from before, totally different....
but i'm hoping that gilmore girls will get back on track, after all it has only been 2 episodes and we have a whole season to go through...

I don't think it is beginning to suck but I don't like where the show is headed. I want Luke and Loralai to get back together. I never liked her with Chris, She doesn't love him she loves Luke and he has always loved her. I hope that Rory doesn't end up with Logan, I don't like him either I like to see her with Jess. I heard that this is the last season.
