i was put on birth control in sep...to help regulate my cycle....so i could possibly get pregnant next year...me and my husband already have one child but we tried again for 7 months and still no baby so my doc said to give it a few more months to make it a year..so i could be considered infertile..and then maybe she'd give me clomid in march..but for now she gave me birth control to help for three months......but since i started taking it...the first wk i only took 3...then i stopped cuz i had a tooth taken out so i was on amox...then a week and a half later i took 4 more to start over but i went out of town and forgot them..so i had to start over again...and between those breaks i had periods...and started again..and it's pill # 2...could i be pregnant...cuz im hungry...breaking out...no breast sorness but i just feel it...could it be possible...please answer...sorry such a long story....

I think it depends if you take it when you are supposed to I have been on birth control for 3 years and have never been pregnant. If you are congrats if this is what you want. Should always take birth control everyday if it is pill form. It is hard to remeber sometimes for me. Good luck and god bless.

Try on taking your vaginal temperature and check for vaginal discharge near your ovulation period. These two combined indicators would help you achieve better chances to becoming pregnant. By the way, no birth control is 100% safe. Be careful with the side effects in the long term.

No, it is not 100% effective, especially if taken incorrectly and with antibiotics. I wish you lots of luck and babydust!
