it gets withdrawn via paypal if they have your bank information on file. You can add this information to your account at any time. if not, they will charge it to the credit card you have on file, and then you personally pay that off at a later date. You will never need to transfer money from your bank to paypal. It is all electronic if you set it up right. Paypal will take care of paying the seller and paying you...just give them your info and you're good to go.

When you sign up for paypal you will enter a bank account number from a check or you can enter a credit card number. Then when you go to pay for something with Paypal, it will take it out of whichever account you put down.
On another note, if you are selling & buying on ebay, and you have sold stuff & the buyer paid through paypal, that money will go into your paypal account. So, lets say you have $30 in your paypal that the ebay buyer paid you. Now if you were to buy something on ebay that was $20, when you go to pay w/ paypal you can chose to pay from your paypal fund (the $30 that has accumulated into that account from other buyers) or through your account that you put in when you signed up for Paypal. A screen will pop up & you just click whichever one you want to pay with. I hope I didn't confuse you!

When you make a purchase on eBay and use PayPal while you check out, eBay connects you to PayPal to finalize the payment.

The funding will be whatever you arrange in advance with PayPal, along with whatever you choose during your PayPal login at the end of the checkout.

In my case, I have a checking account and a credit card to back my PayPal payments. When I check out of an eBay purchase and log in to PayPal, I have the opportunity at one point to take the default (payment through my checking account) or to change my payment option to the credit card.

So, the more direct answer to your question is that you do transfer money from your checking account (or credit card) through PayPal to pay for your purchase on eBay. In either case, you can count on a virtually immediate transfer of funds from PayPal to the seller on eBay.

Paypal will draft from your bank account. This will take a couple of days. They will send your seller an email telling them to anticipate the deposit. You do not need to transfer to you rpYpal account, it will come directly from your bank account. If you wan to pay instantly and avoid the wait, you can use a credit card.

Best of luck on Ebay...it can be fun!!!!!

No you don't. Paypal will automatically go into your checking account or credit card automatically. Just don't forget to deduct that amount from your check book.

If you have Direct Debit setup in Paypal with your bank account.. then its not neccesary to transfer... Paypal will take money automatically.

But personally its recommended.. to avoid or reduce transaction charges.

Yes, it automatically gets withdrawn from your bank account. You do not have to transfer money.
