Why would we need to join Canada for that? We already cross the border to steal prescription drugs. Seems like we are getting a good deal there.

A welfare society is a good way for a country to go broke in a hurry. Study all the countries that give free medical services, and you see they are not free. Everybody has to be taxed out of house and home to pay the bill.
Besides all that, what business has the government gotten into that has succeeded, except for the military, which is their job anyway.

it's difficult to compare
the usa and canada
Canada has 30,000,000 people
the usa has 300,000,000 peeps
it's not easy to manage a country so large that "tries" to be the world leader...
you seem to be comparing apples and oranges
tell me why Haiti and the Dominican Republic are SO different when they're on the same island...and desended from the same people?

It would be nice but it will never happen in America. Too many people want to keep things the way they are even though they know it goes against logic.

That sounds a little too simplistic, however I do think Canada has a lot of things going for them that we sure don't have here.

Why would they want to consider letting you in?
Britain might consider taking you back and sorting out the current mess of a cut.

Get what you want the old fashioned American way, WORK FOR IT.
Go live there for awhile, say 5 years, then come back and we'll talk, eh?

No. I think we should stay the way we are. Canadians who are in need of medical care have to come across to US for this care because they can't get it in their own system.
