i have been here and it i know it is no fun. you feel so lost like no one cares and your just not happy ,cry alot. dont hurt your self that does not solve or help you out at all. i went to a mental hospital and it was not a fun place to be .they keep asking you why you did it . and there was no reason why i was depressed. i know its hard to tell your family and friends but you need them to help you out better tell a close friend or your mom i know its hard to do but. thats how i made my slef feel better i had to tell some one. sorry if i did not help you out hope i kinda did. dont cut your slef please it does not solve or help anything.do something that makes you help to take your mind off it.

First you need to talk to a parent or adult you trust and let them know how you feel. Then you need to realize that there are about a million other guys out there. Why do you hate your school? If it's because of your grades try a test for maybe just one week at first and spend 2 hours every night going over your daily work. Just a few minutes with each class can even make a huge difference. If it's the people there check in to possibly making new friends in a different "clique" or even changing schools for a fresh start. Dont hate yourself or your life. You are special and deserve to be happy. Dont hurt yourself physically, it is NOT the answer and is very dangerous. I have never done it myself but check with your counselors at school to see about some counseling outside of school. Good Luck, I will send you happy thoughts. Remember, you ARE special, and to someone you are their whole world.

Lets look at the down side of cutting:
1) You will end up with nasty scars which you will be asked about for the rest of your life.
2) You get labeled as a "crazy person" and are never looked at the same way again.
3) People who don't know you well will back away and friends will be horrified.
4) It will be difficult to ever get rid of the reputation and meet someone who will love you for yourself.

Lets look at the positive side of cutting:
1) For a few moments you feel a different type of pain.
2) It relieves stress - for a short time.

A better thing to do than cut yourself is to talk to a school counselor. You need to be seen by someone who knows the stress a teenager feels and can help you.

You need to talk to someone.. talk to a friend to help cheer you up.
It can be hard at times.. we all have our badtimes, but you gotta take the good with the bad honey.
School doesn't last forever, and so what about the guy..find someone that will notice you there, don't let anyone bring you down..it's just not worth it... hang in there, the tough times will pass.. I hated school too.. I like life better after school. Don't let the bumps along the way affect your life..start up thing's of your interest to get your mind out of depression.. think on you..and you only not about someguy, or what other ppl think.. ppl will always come and go through-out your life..think about thing's that make you happy.. and go fourth with it! Hang out with friend's more.. make new friend's..and don't be hiding thing's.. there are ppl out there that feel the same way.. but you don't have to.. Chin-up, and hang in there =)

Hi Sammie,

I realize you feel down and alone right now, but trust me, these feelings don't last. They are not permanent. When you are young, things can get blown out of porportion. You may not see a way out of this depression...but there is hope. I really suggest you talk to someone that you can trust...your parents or teachers. It makes things seem so much worse when you keep them bottled up inside. Ask God to help you through these feelings. He is our comforter. And He has a purpose for your life...don't let any person have so much control over you that they make you believe your life is not worth living. One day, you will look back on this and thank God that you are alive.

Apart from not reading your question through properly when you posted it - so as making it almost impossible to read and understand - the main problem you have is the word 'I'.

I this, I that.....

If you thought a little less about yourself - you know - gave up this favoUrite word of yours - I - you might find that the world is a rosier place.

People who talk about themselves all the time are boring - no matter how intelligent or good looking they may be !

life is hard you may seem depressed but if you are a people person stay close to your friends and if you are not then try listening to some sad music and then go to something happy or go running on a hike. Just try to keep your mind off of it, sometimes to get out of depresion it also helps to try and stay positive and dont lie to ur friends they are just tryin to help u

You need to talk to a professional. It is normal to be down sometimes, but you could have a chemical problem that can be fixed, or maybe you just need someone to talk to. Don't do it, instead of doing a cry for help, just go get it.

Please get help.

I know a lot of people have thoughts of hurting themselves, but this sounds a little extreme to me. People who cut do so for a number of reasons, but depression is high among them. Cutting yourself is not the answer, please, please, please get help.

Nothing is expressly wrong with you, but you obviously need to talk this out with someone who knows what they're talking about, preferably a psychologist.

The fact that you're posting on here indicates to me that you're willing to talk about it and take advice, so do so with a professional instead of the people on here. You owe it to yourself.
These psyhcologist or such know a lot more about how to help you than any person on here.

YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG. DEPRESSION IS NOT A PUNISHMENT.

Please, don't fall into that trap.

And this is why you shouldn't rely on the words of strangers, but instead on those of someone who knows what they're talking about.

Please, find someone you trust, a counselor, a priest, a psychologist, your doctor, ANYONE, and talk this out with them.

You havent done anything wrong,.

talk to your mother sammie! cutting yourself shouldn't be on your mind! if you cut in the wrong place or too many times, well, you gone die! so if the stupid kids in your class are bugging you , or they are trying to make ya feel real small, just remeber that they are stupid, and that a person as good as you should not be made fun of. what they say isn't important. keep your head high!
