Any big city where the public transportation is decent...NYC, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, L.A... The only problem is that these cities are also the most expensive in the US but if you find a roommate and don't splurge too much you should be able to live comfortably.

The best one is the city you live in now.
Why move some places you have little or no knowledge of, to look for a 'decent job making 'some' money' when you can do that in the town your at.

I too would go for NY as jobs there give you decent money.
What you don't need is events like 9/11? Otherwise NY is the best.

i'd go for new york.
and live in queens to save on rent.
ust by using the subway alone, u'll save tons on not using a car.

come to Washington DC. the pay is high and the cost of living is low if you move to D.C./maryland boarder.
