We have been married for 21 yrs, i want to add this poem to my
anniversary card to her.
Moments
I cherish the times we have together,
I seeems they are few.
Words cannot express the love i feel,
In moments shared with you.
Your skin so soft to my touch,
when in my arms you lay.
i wish at times the night,
Would never turn into day.
I've lied awake at night,
Just to watch you sleep.
The moon reflecting off your face,
I look at you and weep.
I often wonder in those times
How you stayed with me.
I guess there are some things
That are just supposed to be.
The sparkle in your eyes,
The glow upon your face.
Tells me without a doubt
None could take your place.
The first kiss i get each morning
Lingers throughout the day.
Till the last kiss i get each night,
As off to sleep we drift away.

To me, that would be sweeter than any present all the money in the world could buy, regardless of who wrote it.
Have a wonderful anniversary, and many more happy years together.

Not descriptive enough. Women like details. For instance, instead of saying "your skin so soft to my touch", try something like what her skin feels like. And do you live in a glass house to see the moon reflect off her face?
Its not horrid by any means, and she will appreciate the effort, but using less direct rhyming and being more descriptive will be better...keep at it.

Lucky lady, lucky man to have had the elusive experience only real romantic love brings. I would venture to say a good majority of women would be touched and moved to tears to recieve this and all that goes with it.

It is a lovely poem.
However, if you do add it to the card, don't claim credit for it. I've spotted it on here http://www.netpoets.com/poems/love/1202001.htm
As an engaged woman, I love poems, but I don't like plagiarism.
