how do I find out the status on a home that was for sale if it has been sold or not?

Does the realtor have a website?
If so you can usually find that information out by looking it up on the website

the way I found out was put the addy in yahoo search and it came back to the Realtor. Of course the one I looked at was sold but yours my not be. gl

Generally, you can go down to the county courthouse and search their records on line.
