No. I believe you you can feel infatuation right away(which can feel like love). It takes more to love somebody, than the whole initial attraction. Loving somebody means you know them inside and accept them, respect them for their values, ways, beliefs, everything. There is no "I" in love and you cant possibly feel this things right away.

June the 10th 1990 at the Rennissance Festival just outside Murfreesboro TN in a grove where the games were setup i saw "M". She was wearing a white peasant blouse with black vest and a camel colored skirt. She saw me at the mud pit with a friend of mine and said the world stopped i hadn't seen her yet.

She called me over to her stand and as i turned around i saw an image that would make Aphrodite just crap with jealousy. She had long wavy strawberry blonde hair a few freckles and bluish/grey eyes. Her skin was fair and her lips like pink rose petals. She was quite thin and willowy.

I struck up a conversation and must have babbled about like a drunken monkey for she was the most elegant thing that could ever be concieved of. Like a voice from the past calling me home.

We found ourselves under the shade of Castle Gwynn (a castle built by a photographer on the property) and kissed nonstop for 20 minutes and i truly understood at that moment just how badly someone could need something.

We were together for 2 1/2 years until her passion turned to jealousy then suspiscion then misery. To this day i am so grateful i met her for the memories of that day and all the times thereafter of her laughter, going to her graduation, her prom, the look in her eyes when i looked at her, the slenderness of her nude form, the way we couldn't keep our hands off each other, the hours of just talking, the poems and letters and books we shared.

All from one look.

It's been 16 years since that day at the fair and i still think of her each day. I haven't been there since.

I don't cry because it ended i smile because it happened and i hope everyone of you has that much joy in your heart and when and if it should end have no regrets but be glad that you will have those moments to cherish.

No. Come on people think about it. Can anyone honestly say they can experience love the same moment they see someone? Real love? Not just infatuation. Real love between two people has to develop and is based upon a number of factors shared between them. Love can come quickly for some and slowly for others. Some fool themselves they are in love, others are overly cautious and fend off feelings of love. But love a first site is just a romantic myth perpetuated by Hollywood.

Nope, maybe infatuation at first sight, I think you can love someone and never even see them. so the looking isn't even necessary. I have found myself loving a female that didn't look like much to me at first sight. love is a fickle thing.

I believe in attraction at first sight, but love is born out of shared experience. How can you love someone you do not know....love is born of experiences shared, hardships endured, and committment that stands the test of time.

No. I believe in LUST at first sight...
But love takes time, takes learning about the other person, knowing all of their good and bad traits and loving them because of them and in spite of them. It takes shared experiences, physical intimacy, and common goals. None of those things are around "at first sight." :)

Nope, only lust at first sight...I've seen some pretty lovely guys that I think are so awesome, until I actually speak to them.

i believe in lust at first sight. i think to truly love a person you need to know them and be with them. you can see a person down the street and think "wow" i gonna spend the rest of my life with that person when in actual fact you may get to know them and not like them at all. hmm im undecided i think you can make up your own mind.
