Does MLB rig the playoffs so that most series end up going to 7 games for revenue purposes? Think about it- the more games played in the playoffs, the higher the ratings, the higher the shares, and the higher the revenue!

I doubt that the games are rigged. The Red Sox swept the Cardinals (unfortunately) in the World Series. If they had wanted to make more revenue, that would have been the series to rig, because a lot of people were tuning in to see if the Red Sox would break their "curse." The reason that the series end up going for seven games is because both teams playing are really good, and it's a challenge for either one to win.

Go Cards!!!

Sounds like a nice idea but dont u think they wouldve arranged the last 2 w.s to go 7 games instead of the 4 game sweeps Bosox and White Sox handed to their opponents.

Well, if it's rigged so that series go the max, the Twins are screwing that up because they're tanking it something fierce.
