Why do huge corporate multimillion pound earning companies throw millions and millions of pounds a year down the toilet coming up with ridiculous words (sometimes only 1) and maybe a pathetic new logo all the time cutting jobs and reducing salary all in the name of god damn rebranding... Pathetic. Why not invest in staff.. surely if the product is delivered well and staff are happy there wouldn't be a need for "rebranding" or is it just corporate greed???

It's all about "Effortlessness" apparently. It gives some over-paid office worker a reason for their continued working existence. Why invest in staff when you can replace them with eastern Europeans or Indian call center workers? Who generally can't do the job and don't speak the language required?

Brand recognition and value is important to a business. This is especially true if what the company does/sells changes significantly.

Of course those other things are important too but there's a balance.

It is all to generate money - money = jobs = research - rebranding = more jobs - advertising - more money - more jobs. Actually I am glad they throw away millions and wish I could get a job there.
