i dont believe that i treat my children unfairly because i dont let them play mature rated games because of violence or gore or sexual inuendo, i am a single father of two and i believe that when my children reach a maturity level that they are able to understand the game then i will let them play the game i am also old enough to remember when games did not have ratings systems, and yes games in the eighties and nineties did have violence and sexual inuendo but when parents start blaming thier childrens problems on video games instead of lack of parental control then there is an issue. so if a parent believes that thier child is old enough and mature enough to play games that have violence and gore then thats not a problem as long as the parent is responsible and watches and plays the games with thier children so if a situation comes up then they can discuss it as parent child. and since most video games that are rated mature are made for men that are between the ages of 18 and 27 i really dont know why you are even thinking that you are being treated unfairly just as parents are responsible to not allow thier children to watch tv or movies that are offensive they should also take care and montior thier gaming

if you want gore go to iraq or if that war is over when you get old enough go to another war im sure there will be one, why must you children have gore all the time, i mean isnt there enough stuff on tv thats gorie enough

they feel that whole "violnce in games makes u really kill" thing that the government is using as a red herring so dont feel bad blame whoever made that up
