Get yourself a solicitor. If the lazy so n so"s wont work then that shows a lack of parental responsibility in my eyes. Not a very good influence on the children is it. You obviously want to pay child support so as long as you pay what you have been ordered to pay, then there shouldnt be a problem. Ive worked all my sons life and as long as my sons dad pays what he is obliged to by law, then i dont have a problem but my problem is that my ex WONT pay what he is supposed to but im doing it out of principle for my son. His dad earns mega bucks so he should pay what he is told to. Wont say anymore on the matter as its gone to court
but i do disagree with neither of them working!!! Its called lazyitus!!!!!

Honestly there is nothing you can do about her constantly dragging you to court for more support. My husband goes through this all the time.If you think she is making you child sick then it`s up to you to investigate it.If the child always has a cold or a virus then thats part of life but if the child is always sick for no apparent reason then you as her father has a right to(and you should be doing this)talk with the childs doctor and let him know what you think is going on.If the child is always sick after talking with the doctor then contact social services. It is up to two people on this earth to keep that child healthy and that is you and the mother.Dont put all the blame on mom if you are not investigating it.

is she getting more support each time you go back? state laws (found in the state statutes) usually outline how much support is to be paid, some stupid women believe we are still living in the 50's and 60's and they could not work and the judge would feel sympathy and give them more money, it actually works against them. support is based on combined net income and the amount of support is calculated from that figure, lets say you and her had a net income of 4000.00 per month, support would be something like 1800.00 a month for one child. you pay 60% of that and she pays 40%, ok now she has no income and lets say you made 2500.00 per month, support for one child would be less based on income like around 1200.00 for one child, so you actually get off paying less in the longrun. women don't always do what's in the best interest for the child. look at the woman that just recently claimed kidnap and killed herself. the ex may have turned your girls against you in the short term, but down the road, they will hate her for it. girls love their daddy, and they will realize what she has done eventually. she may be keeping them from you to keep them from telling you something, like new hubby is molesting them. it happens all the time, new hubby has no interest in the girls well being. they aren't his, he won't have a conscience about sneaking into their room at night either. it may very well be hubby that is turning them against you with threats to them, like killing their mother if they say anything. it happens.
good luck and look at your state statutes to find your rights.

Child support is based on your income. You are supposed to contribute a certain percentage of your earnings, to support your child.

Just to answer you question (not the comment), when you get a letter to go to court, you have to go. Talk to (and if you can afford) get an attorney (a damn good one), and try to get custody! GOOD LUCK!
