1. Pressure decreases because the air is more dense the higher you go.
2. Convection is conduction by particles of a medium such as air.( the air conducts heat from a fire to a person sitting nearby.)
3. The ozone layer, a layer in the atmosphere, protects the earth from the sun's harmful radiation.

ummm...i think # 3 is...cuz it protects us from the gases or something in space. =/...i tried.
