hes been gone and we can't find him, though my brothers cat and my moms cat are getting along much better. They used to fight alot. My dad just grins at me, did my dad do a bad thing to my mousey or do you think it was one of the cats?

I looked in the vacuume cleaner bag, and found only dust, loosey change and my brothers used condoms.... I don't think he ran away, the cage was still locked shut.

If his cage is still shut, leave it open. If he is still alive, he may be hungry and want to find his way back to the cage. Consider investing in a humane mousetrap and bait it and check it frequently. Also check along the floor (especially along the baseboards) for mouse droppings.
If you have two cats though, it's possible that he may have been eaten =( Though I have two cats, and there has been a wild mouse in our house for 3 weeks and they haven't got it yet! Good luck!

I had two hamsters-they ALWAYS got loose!!!! So we set up this "trap". You fill a big bowl or something like that with mouse food, then put a little run way up to it, then make a little drop into the food, so it can't get out. My only concern would be the cats. Your mouse definetely won't starve, either.

they sell mouse traps nowadays that can trap mice without hurting or killing them and please if you want that mouse to live for more than a day before its caught. dont leave open doors unattended and no cats in the house not even a kitten...umm maybe dad too =)
