Okay, so we're supposed to find out how to SIMPLIFY it, and I left my notes @ school, and none of my friends have them 2.

first u have to do the distributive property. -4(5c+7) becomes -20c-28. So now its 20c-28-3c+13=? then u use the associative property to put the c's together: 20c-3c-28+13. The simplify: 20c-3c=17c and -28+13=15. So 17c+15. If you have to solve for c (not sure if you do) subtract 15 from both sides to get 17c=-15. Then divide both sides by 17. But if you dont have to solve for c its just 17c+15. Hope that helped!

First, multiply the parentheses in the first term by -4 to get
-20c -28 -3c + 13.
Now combine like terms to get your final answer:
-23c-15.

ok. so u try and get rid of the parenthesis. so it'd be -4 times 5c + 7-3c+13

then u combine the like terms

then u solve it!
