reptiles are cold blooded.

that means that they have to move in order to maintain a straight body heat. They cannot produce body heat of their own, but have to soak in the sun to warm up and move into the shade to cool down.

They usually have scales....or that just happens to seem to me.

some reptiles are:
turtles
iguanas
lizards

reptiles are exotherms or cold blooded they have to warm their bodies in the sun otherwise their slow and lethargic if a repthile is to cold it will not be able to digest food when a reptile is to hot it will move to a cooler area say under a log or rock reptiles in captivity hare a heat mat that covers half or a third of their vivarium it gives them the choice to move around and regulate their core temperature much like in the wild

Reptiles are some of the smaller sized dinosaurs that Noah saved from the flood because they lacked the wicked nature of many of the larger lizards of that era.
Hope that helps.

Retiles are cold blooded animals such as lizards, snakes...etc

They become slow and lethargic when they are cold, and quite active when they are warm.

They generally eat insects or other small animals, depending on what they can fit in their mouths.

Most reptiles are from warm regions, you can find them across the entire planet.
