The epidural might have caused a seepage of spinal fluid that could be causing her problems, but it is usually limited to severe headaches. She must still be in the hospital and under doctors' care. Have they not told the family anything? I don' t know if it could be a reaction to the painkillers in the epidural or extreme shock brought on by the birth. Hope she gets better soon.

She had an allergic reaction to it or they really messed up and hit the wrong area, most likely an allergic reaction. Though medication can help with the reaction it has to flush out of her system. A friends wife went through the not being able to move thing, if you like you can send me an email and I will give his email address, I know he won't mind.

Is she still in the hospital? If not she must be taken there immediately. I do not know the reason for this but this is totally not a normal reaction.

Good Luck.
