when you shave down there (private area) guy and i guess girls how do do it you know how many blades and other details on how to make it go right i've got out the trimers alout but never shave please help

Well, there's no way to "know" what's right. Just be careful. Nicking the skin down there is a lot more painful than nicking your face. Lather up with lots of cream and go gently. Use a safety razor, not a straight razor. By the way...when it grows back it will be itchy and you'll get red bumps from the ingrown hairs. You might just be better off trimming very short.

I would recommend skipping the entire process of shaving, unless you are really adamant about having a smooth private area, then I would just wax. It hurts a little during the process but it saves a lot of discomfort when the hair grows back.

well ya just trim until its close like u would ur face then shave against the grain (the way the hair grows) take ur time DO NOT DO THIS WHILE IN A RUSH u will screw urself over but just be careful and pull he skin so u can get that nice close shave but be careful it will itch so use like some ultra moisturizing body wash when ur in the shower so it wont itch well good luck

Ick!!! Why would you shave there? That is sooooo seriously gross! I've heard that gay guys shave to they can clean up the poop easier after anal sex, so I'd sure have a lot of doubts about where you'd been with your equipment recently, and I'd probably get away from you very fast. Ugh!

I like to know your age as I'm sure in this day and age you should know this from your parents or there is loads of books out there.ask your doctor.And why are you shaving your private area anyway????

Use a beard/mustache trimmer. Its easy and fast. Then if you want more detail, use a good razor, and some hair conditioner...works great and leaves the area soft.

um i dont know about the blades (i use 2 or 3) then after you do it you NEED to put baby powder on it cuz its going to itch like a mother. thanks for doin it! most guys wont!
