Yes, the classic "Trading Places" with "Eddie Murphy and Dan Ackroyd and Jamie Lynn Curtis. The two old men did not like Dan's character, so, they betted each other that the homeless man they found on the street (Eddie) can easily be changed into one of them and that Dan's character was going to go to the poor house. So, they betted $1 that this can be done.
So, they treated Reggie (I think that was Eddie's character's name) out and "made" him to a success, per se. They thought he was going to try to steal, but, was thawted as one brother was trying to tell the other one that Reggie was going to be loyal to them. Jamie was there to act like the girlfriend of Dan's character (who had a fiance'-Muffy) and was paid by the brothers, the Dukes. When Eddie found out their plan, he found Dan's character and Jamie's character and told them about it. At the end, they ended up taking millions of dollars from them from the stock market and had them homeless.
One of the better Eddie Murphy movies of the 80's.

Trading Places...and funny thing I just noticed when watching Coming to America...the same two old guys...Ralph Bellamy and Don Ameche have cameo roles in that movie playing two vagrants...that was funny.
