Hair is made of protein (just like pretty much everything else in your body). Now in these proteins are sulfur atoms (called sulfides). When two sulfur atoms come together, they form what's called a disulfide bond. If two sulfur atoms are far apart in the same protein, and they come together to form that bond, the protein is going to bend accordingly. The more disulfide bonds, the curlier the hair. Naturally curly hair has a lot of disulfide bonds.

their hair is curly because they historically originate in very sunny places, and tight, curly hair is better protection against the sun. so is their dark skin. black people are far less vulnerable to skin cancer than light skinned people.

Actually Mont B, that is a really good question. God arranged it that those of us who lived in Africa for Thousands of years would be able to withstand the intense African sun by allowing air to circulate through our hair. He designed African hair to allow air to flow through it. He let Africans to evolve tight curly hair so that our heads would not be overheated.

Nordic peoples have long noses. God knew that they needed to have air warmed before getting to the lungs for processing. He also allowed blacks to have plenty of melanin so that their skin would not be vulnerable to intense heat. Europeans have retained most of their body hair because during cold Ice age winters body hair was a plus.

Why do you question God?

We think your eyes are weird. I least we can see our irises when we look in the mirror at ourselves. Now you know how it feels to be insulted for something you can't help. Ha Ha.
