I had a pimple on my forehead for a couple of days. Foolishly I tried to pop it, even though it wasn't remotely ready. The pimple deflated, but now I am left with a red mark which I think is a scar. I've never gotten one before, but it is terribly visible and embarassing. Does anyone know what I can use to make it fade and/or cover it up?

p.s. I am on a budget!

Try Mederma cream... it's under 20 bucks

Also, when you notice a blemish, before it scars put Vitamin E directly on it. Buy the vitamin you would take by mouth, open it, and apply the gel directly to the skin. This also helps with cold sores if you get those. It will help the skin heal and not scar.

First of all get some noxema cream and let it sit on the scab for a while then get a warm cloth and the scab will come off...don't pick at it if it doesn't but it usually does. Then use vitamin e cream that always works to prevent scarring. Hang in there!

Mederma for scars may help, its a fairly inexpensive cream. It will probably fade with time too.
