I try to learn from people that I respect, and I don't respect people that cheat on their Significant Others....
Unless you count - what NOT to do - as learning from them!!!
As for if they are good people or not... I would say - they can be. Just because you make a mistake, doesn't mean that you are a bad person!!! The key is to learn from your mistakes (if you are wise enough to admit cheating is WRONG!)

I learn that they cannot be trusted not to cheat and I also learn that most of them have what is called sexual addiction. Maybe they have a good heart but I don't want a heart that can't be trusted. My ex married the woman he was cheating with while we were married and then tried to get me. They are sick.

No, they are scum. If you cheat you will get caught and you will break someones heart. IF you want to be with another woman have the decency to be a man about it.
