You need to use iTunes. If you don't have it, it is a free download at apple.com. iTunes can also pick up files you have on your computer already. So if you want to transfer songs from a cd or other download program, like Limewire, iTunes will do the job. Basically once you get iTunes and plug your iPod in, your computer will do the rest.

If you already have the ipod, you should have iTunes. And then you just pay $.99 a song and then just drag it to your iPod. Unless you are talking about getting music from somewhere else.

Download the software from ur iPod
either get songs from iTunes or some site and download
then go to iTunes and click Import and ur song should be daved in ur music documents

You have to have itunes installed on your computer. Then you can import music from other folders or purchase music from the itunes music store....
