Yup. Way, way more space than most people think. For example, even though there are hundreds of thousands of asteroids in the asteroid belt, you can easily fly right through the belt without ever getting close enough to any of them to get a good look at it.

And more than that! Our most powerful instruments can only "see" 4 % of space. (thats what i hear), and the mass of all the objects in space create a massive gravitational pull which makes the universe fold over onto itself. so... if u went in a str8 line in space you would eventually end up where u started!!!! pretty cool huh?
