gay rights advanced in the military, environment front and center in national attention, family medical leave act - a pitiful imitation of europes' true family values- the liberation of kosovo, the ending of the haitian invasion, the building up of a huge surplus, the plummeting of the crime rate, the arrest of the millenial terrorists, huge numbers of americans feeling the country was 'on the right track.'
